Barry Samuel Knight was born on 21 April 1864 at Adrian, Lenawee, Michigan, USA. He was the son of Thomas Knight and Mary Ann Andrews. Barry Samuel Knight died on 16 September 1865 at Adrian, Lenawee, Michigan, USA, at age 1.

Thomas Henry Knight

M, b. 23 August 1861, d. 17 July 1923
Thomas Henry Knight was born on 23 August 1861 at Canada; According to 1870 and 1910 censuses, Thomas was b. in Canada. On the 1900 census, place of birth is Ohio. However, all his children say their father was b. NY. Because the 1900 census says Thomas has been married 17 years, it is assumed that he is the father of all of these children and that the census taker made errors in the 1900 census. Also, no entry for Thomas and Mary Ann Knight is found in the 1860 census, so this would also support the fact that the family was in Canada for a short time. He was the son of Thomas Knight and Mary Ann Andrews. Thomas Henry Knight married Sabrina J. This little guy was hit by a train at the McKenzie Street crossing in Adrian. Thomas had left to go to work. The family lived two doors down from the crossing on McKenzie Street. Four of the children were playing out front in the yard when he drove out of the yard with his team, and went on over the tracks. He cautioned the children not to follow him, but Clifford, unknown to his father, followed him. He was struck by the train as he took a few steps down the track.
The train stopped and a doctor on board the train carried him to his mother. He died later that day.
The article in the paper says he was two-years-old, but I have a letter from a sibling that puts his age at three. I've known about Clifford for some time, but never had a death date to check the paper. I ran across his death while going through a card catalog at the local historical museum.
