Kavanagh, an old and highly respected citizen of this city died at his home, No. 15 Barber street yesterday afternoon, at 2 o'clock after an illness of two months' duration. for many years he held a position in the Empire Wringer Works and his pleasant manner won for him many lifelong friends. He was member of Branch 59, C. M. B. A. He is survived by three sons, Thomas, Michael and Henry Kavanagh, and five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Watkins, Mrs. Henry House, and Nellie, Agnes and Lillie Kavanagh, all of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bowers of Millville, Mass., and Mrs. Ellen Elliott of this city, and one brother, Daniel Kavanagh of Kansas City who may feel assured of the sympathy of the community in their affliction. The ffuneral will be held from the family home Thursday morning at 9 with services at St. Aloysius' church at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in the family plot in St. Josephs' cemetery.
