Mr. Stout was a member of Holston Baptist Church. U.S. Navy Veteran of Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Mabel Stout; mother, Jessie Stout of Strawberry Plains; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Stout of Knoxville, William and Mary Stout, and Jack Stout of Strawberry Plains, and Joe and Barbara Stout of Columbia, S.C.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday from the McCarty Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Eric Rigon officiating. Interment services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Roseberry Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
