    Irma F. Galyen, 68, of Columbus died at 6:59 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center.

    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.

    Mrs. Galyen is survived by daughters, Teresa (Tim) Smith of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Becky Rodgers of Franklin and Mary (Matt) Willoughby of Florida; a sister, Eva (Sid) Baker of Bonnyman, Ky.; five granddaughters; and 10 great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Galyen.
