Born Aug. 13, 1912 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Mary A. (Fleener) Galyan.
She was a secretary at the Bloomfield Woolen Mill, and was also a member of the Switz City Christian Church.
Survivors include: three sisters, Edith Young of Greensburg, Mary Chitwood and her husband Keith of Spencer, and Frances Richardson and her husband Homer of Bloomington; two brothers, Carl Galyan of Brooklyn, Ind. and Charles J. Galyan and his wife Jean of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ollie Gheen, her second husband Lee Richardson, one brother Clarence Galyan and four sisters, Myrtle Monday, Bertha Goodall, Grace Lind and Norma Ragle.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Chris Ghering officiating. Burial will be at Little Union Cemetery, Monroe County.
